Bible Verses About God's Love
God's Great Love For You
He loves you more than you could ever imagine. His love is perfect, eternal, and unlike any love you will ever experience. God's love for you does not depend on your actions, decisions, or your love for Him. He loves you beyond your sins, shortcomings, and failures.
God loves you so much that he wants an intimate relationship with you! He wants to be your strength, your comfort, your peace, your everything.
We All Have Made Mistakes
Many of us have endured heartbreak and disappointment at one time or another. Maybe you don’t have the earthly father you wish you could have, and perhaps you are stuck in a season of darkness that leaves you feeling lonely and weak. Maybe you have endured storm after storm and are restless and need hope. You may have made so many mistakes you feel unworthy and not good enough. Or maybe you have done everything you can to do the right thing, but you still feel something is missing…
We have all been there. It is essential for you to know that God is ready to embrace you right where you are. Let Him be the Father you need, let Him be your source of strength and peace, let Him carry your burdens and help you through the storms, let Him give you everything you need.
God loves you so much and wants to be at the center of your life. He wants to be the first one you call on when you need help, and He wants to hear what is going on in your life and what is troubling you. God is your Savior, your Father, your best friend. He loves you and wants to transform your heart and life.
What The Bible Says About God's Love
Let's look at some bible verses about God's love and how he shows His love to us!
Psalms 136:2 “Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever.”
God's love is eternal. It will never change, it will never stop, it is the only constant you can count on.
1 John 4:10 “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”
All of us are undeserving sinners. We make bad choices, stray from what we know is right, turn our backs on God, and often let things get in the way of the path we are supposed to walk on. Regardless of all of that, God deemed us worthy. He loved us so much that he sent his Son as a living sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 4:16 “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.”
God created us in his image so we could have a relationship with Him and further his Kingdom, spending eternity with Him. He is the sole definition of love, our best example of love, and the only love that can make us complete. He is our Savior, and without Him, we are nothing.
Deuteronomy 7:9 “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations.”
God loves us so much that He has and will continue to keep His promises and His word. You can rest assured that even when you turn your back on Him or break your promises, He will never break his. His love is not dependent on our actions, and there is nothing we could ever do to separate us from His perfect love.
Ephesians 2:4-10 “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions- it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
God has loved you since before you were in your mother's womb. You are valuable, a priceless treasure to Him. You are created and designed specifically for a purpose. God does not make mistakes, you are a masterpiece, made in the image of God himself.
God made a way for you to have a relationship with him and be with him for eternity. He made a way even when our sins, pride, and selfishness messed everything up. HE is the way, the only way. God loves you unmeasurably, unconditionally, and perfectly. He will never leave you, and you are never too far gone to run into His arms. YOU are HIS child. HIS creation. YOU are HIS love.
